Konflux Theatre is a trusted Theatre in Education company, working successfully throughout the UK for 20 years. Our most popular project is Play in a Day® which was pioneered by Konflux Theatre.
The workshops proved to be an effective way of enabling us as a County Council, working in partnership with Veolia, to deliver the ‘Reduce, Reuse and Recycle’ message to the schools. Using this creative delivery method there was great potential to spread the message not only to the children involved in the workshop, but also to their peers watching. We are confident the messages learned will be passed on to the parents at home too.
The workshop leader demonstrated enthusiasm and commitment to the pupils at all times, she was attentive and flexible in her approach leading the children in a friendly and professional manner. All pupils were listened to and suggestions made were used effectively, allowing pupils to take ownership of the production and be in control of their own work.
Konflux Theatre in Education is a unique way to engage and motivate pupils, it was great to see them grow in confidence as they progressed through the day. Their involvement in the workshops and the final performance will be an experience I think they will remember for many years to come.

The day was amazing; the pupils were so motivated & enthusiastic. The workshop leader was brilliant & knew exactly when to balance the play out with games. She was excellent with the girls and really encouraged them all the way. She really got the best out of the girls possible so I was extremely impressed.

Pupils have eagerly anticipated working with Konflux and once again it lived up to all expectations. All agreed learning objectives were met and pupils have gained a fantastic understanding of Romeo and Juliet along with a greater understanding of Drama and how a play can come together. Once again, pupils in school have thoroughly enjoyed working with Konflux theatre and Mark in particular. They gained so much throughout the day and now have a greater understanding of Romeo and Juliet and the themes running through the play. Mark listened to what I wanted the class to take from the experience and adapted as necessary. A valuable learning experience which pupils will undoubtedly remember.
