End of (school) year fun!

It's almost the end of the school year, are you stuck trying to think of ways to liven up your classroom? We have put together some ideas and tips to do just that!

Let the pupils teach

Some teachers and schools have started doing something they call 'genius hour'. It is an opportunity for pupils to share what they have learnt or their own unique interests to the rest of the class.

Classroom Beach

Bring the fun of summer directly in to your classroom by turning it in to a beach! Now you might not want to use actual sand or water, but you can recreate the beach using: towels, large blue cloth, beach chairs and any activities they would want to do.

DIY Photobooth

This activity can be a project from creating props, building frames, taking the photos and maybe even creating a photoalbum or scrapbook. The perfect way to create memories for the whole class.

Create a summer bucket list

Encourage each pupil to think about what they would like to do this summer. This could be anything from watch a movie at home to going to a water park. How many things can they get done this summer?

Classroom Escape Room

Challenge your pupils to crack the escape room! Create various puzzle and games for the children to solve in small teams. You could create puzzles about what you have studied in the previous year.
