Matt energised and entertained an entire key stage. He used a range of subjects including Literacy, History, popular culture, sport, teamwork and of course, drama. He was particularly effective with some of the Y6 children who might have been less enthusiastic following SATs. Matt was flexible and worked around the needs of our school. Matt came to our school loaded with ideas, energy and enthusiasm. This proved to be a contagious mix which inspired all the pupils across a very wide range of abilities. He got everyone working and brought out some brilliant performances from some unlikely places! His management of a large group of children was exemplary. We will certainly recommend Konflux and in particular Matt Driver to other schools.

The Workshop Leader worked really hard all day with the children. He was enthusiastic and engaging and used the children’s natural ability well to create the play. The way that he brought it all together so that the final performance was quite spectacular was outstanding. The children really excelled themselves in the final performance. The audience were totally engaged and loved the jokes and comedy acting moments. Some of the younger reception-aged children spontaneously gave the cast a standing ovation at the end which showed how amazing the final performance was. The children really enjoyed the whole experience which was linked to our pirate story theme for World Book Day. ‘Treasure Island’ was definitely the highlight of the week. Konflux kept in touch well before the workshops and even called on the day to check that everything was going well. It was a bit of a risk booking with a new company but I would thoroughly recommend the ‘Play in a Day’ as a wonderful experience and good value for money.

The Paris Olympics 2024!
We’re so excited at Konflux about the return of the Olympics this year!
This historic event has been around for hundreds of years and has taken place at some fantastic locations all across the world including Tokyo, Athens and of course - London!
History of the Olympics
- The Greeks loved sport and the Olympic Games were the biggest sporting event in the ancient calendar.
- The Olympic Games began over 2,700 years ago.
- The Games started in Olympia which is in south west Greece.
- Every four years, around 50,000 people came from all over the Greek world to watch and take part.

Ways to get involved
There are over 45,000 volunteers being signed up to assist with the games in Paris this year! But if you are unable to take part, heres a few ideas of how you can get involved closer to home:
- Sports Day – feel like an Olympian yourself with a go at the egg and spoon race, or even the relay!
- Design banners at home to champion your favourite team or sportsperson!
- Make your own medals
- Host an Olympics quiz at home or school
- Create an Olympic torch
