Roald Dahl Day!

“Come with me, and you’ll be in a world of pure imagination” – He once said, and we couldn’t have said it better ourselves!

Roald Dahl Day takes place every year on 13th September (Dahl’s birthday) to celebrate the magic he created for children everywhere through his creative works! His stories have stood the test of time with generations of people having read and explored his wonderful ideas and characters through his imagination.

Konflux also love to celebrate Roald Dahl and now have both ‘Play in a Day’ and ‘Creative Learning’ workshops all about the man himself and to help inspire children everywhere to be creative too!

Roald Dahl Day is now also well known within schools as a day to celebrate by dressing up and fundraise for Charity!

Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity provides specialist nurses and support for seriously ill children. If you and/or your school are interested in donating please head to - https://www.roalddahlcharity.org

To name a few of his many works, he is responsible for writing imaginative books such as:

  • Fantastic Mr Fox
  • The Witches
  • James and the Giant Peach
  • Matilda
  • George's Marvellous Medicine
  • The BFG
  • Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Many of his stories have now been turned into movies and even musicals (we would thorough recommend Matilda in the West End ;))
