As winter drags on it may be hard to find the fun in this time of year now that Christmas is over. But there are so many fun activties you can do this Winter to cheer up your classroom!
Snow Spray Painting
We all love playing in the snow, but what about painting the snow! Why not add some colour to your snowy garden by grabbing a spray bottle and filling it with some water and food colouring. Then watch as they create colourful masterpieces in the snow!
Coffee Filter Snowflakes
Coffee filters are a great material for creating simple and colour snowflakes. Simple fold them, cut iut your snow flake shape and patterns and carefully unfold to reveal your snowflake design. If you want to add some colour why not use watercolour paints to make your snow flake pop!
Small World Play
One of the best ways to learn is through play. Why not creating a small Artic world for your children to play with and explore. You could do this using fake snow, a large tray/tub and a few toys of Artic animals.
These are just a few ideas on how you can make winter fun, creative and educational!!
