What an unbelievable term it’s been with one of our busiest Novembers!
Our most popular workshop this November has been in honour of the End of WWI Centenary and the ever popular Anti-Bullying Week. We have also had lots of workshops taking place in partnership with local Authority’s including Durham and Tower Hamlets. Helping spread Road Safety message to schools in their areas.

Here are just a few highlights…
Guardians of Moodle – E-safety/ Anti-bullying
After the performance I asked the pupils if they had enjoyed the day to which they all said they had. I have since had pupils approach me saying they still remember their lines and would love to participate again. It was certainly an experience the children learned from and enjoyed! Our workshop leader was firm but fair with the children and this enabled him to get the best out of the children and pull together a performance in a very short time frame.
Tower Hamlets Road Safety Partnership
Konflux Theatre have been very easy to work with from start to finish. The administration staff are outstanding with communication and organisation skills. Andrew, the facilitator, was absolutely engaging with the children and they hung on his every word! Serious content taught in an engaging way!
All the King’s Men – WWI Workshop
We thoroughly enjoyed today and were amazed by the standard of production that was created to celebrate with parents at the end of the day. All the children were included and learned so much through a learning approach that was enjoyable. Thank you Konflux Theatre for an amazing day – we had an amazing time.
Bye Bye Bully(KS2) & Magic Carpet (KS1) – Anti-bullying
The children were fully engaged and got a lot out of it. Children who mentioned ways in which they had experienced bullying said that the sessions helped them. Rob was very professional and engaging. The way he led the class was fluid and quite skilful in behaviour management. His dramatic presence and the drama aspect were excellent, as was his discussion about bullying.
Planet Rock - Science
Our class had a fantastic experience, the script was appropriately pitched, very engaging for all pupils and allowed them to learn about the topic in a fun and interactive way. This all resulted in an excellent performance enjoyed by parents and pupils. Konflux Theatre are a pleasure to work with. The staff are inspiring and engaging, with all the pupils focused and enthused about the topic being covered. It was a very fun and a different way to engage with our topic.
1066 Battle of Hastings - History
The pupils engaged brilliantly with the Play in a Day experience- they really enjoyed the opportunity to perform and work together as a team. The experience will definitely enhance and enrich our topic learning as a lot of content has already been touched upon for us to refer back to! The Play in a Day by Konflux was the perfect way to kick off our topic! The play covered much of the historic content that we will be looking at in an exciting and engaging way. Chris was fantastic at involving all of the children and encouraging them to perform to the best of their ability. A workshop I would definitely recommend.
