Play In A Day
Planet Rock Konflux Theatre

This Play in a Day is for up to 35 KS2 or 3 pupils. The pupils will work with a facilitator throughout the day and have the opportunity to share a short performance to an audience of their choice at the end of the day.

Busy for the next fifteen minutes? Come with us on an adventure... to the stars and back!

Time for lift-off into the vastness of outer space. What's out there? Who's out there? How do we get there? So many questions. We're on a voyage to the stars to discover what makes our own planet so special.

A trip around the Milky Way, to check out the planets, the stars and the sun... oh and hope you like cheese because we're off to the Moon too. Rockets, flying saucers and astronauts in a fun-filled exploration of the solar system; all in fifteen minutes and back in time for the bell!

This time we're blasting off into Space. An exciting, lively and thought-provoking day long rehearsal with one of our professional directors, culminating in an interactive performance to peers and parents at the end of the school day.

Why do astronauts have to be so fit? Why do stars shine at night? Can you name the planets in order from the sun? Who was Galileo? Why did his theories frighten people so? Who went to the moon with Aldrin and Armstrong? Why is space exploration so important? All these questions and many more will be tackled as we meet a host of eccentric characters and take a most unusual look at... well, pretty much the whole universe actually! Time to buckle up and... 3-2-1...

Watch this - space!
